Man faces two dozen charges for thefts

Davis, 39, is charged with taking items from unoccupied offices and reception areas in businesses in the downtown /*Durham*/ and /*Research Triangle Park area*/.

He is accused of taking wallets and credit cards in office areas, then using the cards to purchase gas and other items during the past two months. He is also charged with taking laptop computers from several offices.

The charges against Davis include several counts of felony larceny, misdemeanor larceny, financial card theft, obtaining property by false pretense and identity theft.

Davis turned himself in Wednesday. His bond was set at $200,000.
