The event will be held at 11 a.m. at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte. Local law enforcement agencies will join troopers April 1-6, to encourage drivers to slow down and follow the speed limit.
During the campaign, stepped-up enforcement and patrols will be conducted across the state. Officers will focus on motorists exceeding the posted speed limit on interstates and major four-lane highways.
