Barack, Michelle Obama to visit N.C.

RALEIGH

Senator Barack Obama will return to North Carolina on Monday for an economic discussion with workers in Durham a day ahead of the May 6 primary.

He will meet with local workers in the Research Triangle to hear about the challenges and successes they have seen in North Carolina.

The event is not open to the public and is invite only.

Michelle Obama will also return to North Carolina on Monday to meet with supporters and undecided voters in the final hours before the May 6 primary. She will host "Get Out the Vote" community events.

She will speak to voters about Barack Obama's ability to bring people together to solve the challenges we face, and to encourage participation in Tuesday's primary.

Also on Monday, Michelle Obama will hold a discussion with military families in Fayetteville.

She will be joined by Former President of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and decorated Vietnam War veteran Paul Bucha and retired Army Major General and former Sergeant at Arms of the United States Senate General Al Lenhardt.
