Several injured in interstate accident

DURHAM

The struck suburban hit the concrete divider separating eastbound from westbound lanes, then flipped over the divider and landed on its hood in the westbound lanes.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Duke Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Multiple people were in the other vehicle that struck the suburban. They went to UNC Hospital.

There was also a seeing eye dog in that vehicle --the dog was okay.
