The body was taken to the Medical Examiner's office for further investigation. Fayetteville Police say the case is under investigation, but could not confirm any other details.
Police investigating remains found
FAYETTEVILLE Fayetteville Police say some kids taking a short cut through the woods discovered a badly decomposed body at the dead end of Nan Street early Saturday afternoon. Nan Street is near Cliffdale Road and Raeford Road area.
