Pizza deliveryman robber caught

DURHAM A deliveryman for Domino's told officers he was delivering pizzas in McDougald Terrace around 7:45 p.m. on August 16 when a male approached him, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Hemmingway, 21, of Dorothy Drive is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and earlier charges of identity theft and possession of drugs.

He was arrested Saturday morning at Truman and Wabash Streets as a result of a CrimeStoppers tip. He was placed in Durham County Jail under a $280,000 bond.
