Authorities: Pilot dies in helicopter crash

MOYOCK, N.C. Officials say one person was pronounced dead at the scene and the second person suffered from serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The crash happened on the campus of the private security contractor Xe, about 30 minutes south of Norfolk, Va. Xe is the security and training company formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide.

Blackwater announced the name change almost two weeks ago. The name change comes after their reputation became battered by often criticized work in Iraq.
