Moonshine seized with weapons

DUDLEY Officers say they went to a call of "shots fired" in the area of Timothy Street in Dudly Saturday night. They spoke with 70-year-old Johnnie Lee Jones and got permission to search his home for a handgun.

Once inside, deputies C. R. Schaeffer and Aaron Cantwell say they discovered he's been selling illegal alcohol from the residence.

They confiscated 20 cases of beer, 7 gallons of corn liquor (Moonshine), 16 pint jars of corn liquor (Moonshine), 2 shotguns and a .32 caliber revolver.

Jones is charged with possession for sale of alcoholic beverages without an ABC permit.
