Authorities say 54-year-old Robert Fletcher Grissom was killed while walking along the highway. He was reportedly with another pedestrian when it happened.
The NC Highway Patrol is looking for a small, red vehicle with damage to the right front side of its windshield. Anyone with information should call the Highway Patrol at 919-733-3861, or dial *HP.
