Men charged with pork chop theft

ROCKY MOUNT According to a deputy, he stopped a suspicious vehicle on Boling Rd. in Roanoke Rapids around 8:30 p.m.

During the stop, the officer noticed packs of pork chops in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the meat was stolen from Food Lion.

Jaquan Cheek, 19 and Keith Arrington, 30, are charged with larceny. The men were arrested and held under a $500 bond.
