Shooting in downtown Raleigh

Police have a man in custody after a shooting in downtown Raleigh Friday night.

It happened at Blount and Lee streets after 9 p.m.

Investigators say a 17-year-old Curtis Hartsfield Jr. was shot in the chest. He apparently has life-threatening injuries at WakeMed.

Larry McCargo, 22, is charged with attempted murder.

No motive for the shooting was given.
