Police: Woman holds up Raleigh bank

RALEIGH

Investigators said just before 11:30 a.m., the woman went up to a teller at the Wachovia bank located at 4530 Western Boulevard and passed a note demanding money.

The suspect - who wore a green hooded sweatshirt, black skull cap, dark pants and dark sunglasses with gold trim between the glass and arms - then left.

Police say the same woman may be behind similar robberies at banks in eastern North Carolina, including Wilmington.
