Police arrest blade wielding robber

The Fayetteville Police Department has arrested a suspect who is believed to be responsible for a series of robberies that began on April 25.

Officers located 50-year-old Julius Williams, III at Cape Fear Valley Hospital Thursday afternoon.

Police charged Williams but have not released details about the charges.

In all of the robberies, the suspect entered the store, displayed a knife or box cutter and escaped away with cash.
