Fort Bragg soldier killed in Afghanistan

FORT BRAGG, N.C. The military says Master Sergeant Benjamin Stevenson was killed Thursday when insurgents attacked his unit.

He had been to Iraq seven times, and was on his third tour in Afghanistan.

He was born in Albany, New York, and enlisted in 1993.

He was 36 years old.
