Authorities said 29-year-old Jada Rofot is charged with two counts of second-degree rape among other sex charges.
Randy Young with UNC Public Safety said the incident happened on campus on October 13, but the department hasn't released additional details including where it happened. UNC PD said is treating it as an isolated incident.
Rofot was arrested at his workplace in Durham. He is currently in jail under a $2.5 million bond.
