No injuries were reported in the incident, which happened on the ground around 1 p.m.
The accident involved an EVA cargo plane that had just arrived from Alaska. The wingtip of that plane struck the American Eagle Flight 4265 that had arrived from Springfield, Missouri. That much smaller Embraer 140 plane was taxiing to Gate G20.
The 18 passengers on board the American Eagle flight deplaned without incident, along with the three crewmembers.
Damage to the aircraft is being assessed.
