Coach K was greeted by a crowd of reporters when he arrived at the RDU Airport Monday evening.
Team USA beat Spain Sunday to capture its second gold medal in a row.
Coach K was excited during the game. He was even caught on camera at the end of the fourth quarter jumping up and down on the sidelines.
"I don't know if, in the last couple of minutes, my reactions on the sideline were out of relief," said Krzyzewski. "It was 'whoa man,' this is unbelievable."
Krzyzewski said Sunday's game was his final game as head coach of the national team.
