Officers responded to the Zales Outlet on Industrial Park Drive around 12:24 p.m. Monday.
Officials said a male entered the store and looked at diamond rings. He asked an employee to look at a $3,000 diamond ring in the display case. When the employee handed it to him, the suspect fled the store with the ring.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6'5"with a slim build. He was last seen wearing denim pants, a gray long sleeve shirt and white tennis shoes.
