Man killed in Fayetteville shooting

One man died and another was injured in a shooting Sunday morning, according to authorities in Fayetteville.

It happened just after 2 a.m. in the 200 block of South Eastern Boulevard at Upscales Restaurant & Lounge.

When police arrived, they found two men who were suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.

One of the victims, 22-year-old Terry Jamil Jefferson, died at the hospital from his injuries. The second victim is still in critical condition. His name has not been released.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing at this time.
