Suspects arrested in Cary commercial break-ins

CARY, N.C.

Brian Dylan Johnson, 27, and Nicolas Robert Losito, 23, have each been charged two counts of break or enter any building with intent to commit felony larceny, one count of felony conspiracy and one count of possession of burglary tools.

Additionally, Johnson has been charged with four counts of breaking and entering. Losito has been charged with three counts of breaking and entering.

Johnson and Losito were arrested early Thursday after police witnessed suspicious activity in Cary and followed a car into Raleigh. That vehicle then crashed into a Cary police car on Hayloft Circle at Old Farm Road.

Following the crash, Johnson and Losito were arrested.

No life-threatening injuries were reported from the crash.

Johnson and Losito are being held at the Wake County Public Safety Center in Raleigh.

Over the last four weeks, police believe the suspects have broken into 34 businesses in Cary, Apex, and Morrisville.
