Authorities searching for attempted murder suspect

DURHAM

Deputies with the Durham County Sheriff's Office received a call around 8 p.m. about a shooting in the parking lot of AW North Carolina on Old Oxford Hwy.

When they arrived, they said they learned that 23-year-old Tyrell Rashad Bullock of Henderson followed his ex-girlfriend Cetara Scott to her work, blocked her vehicle with his, and then fired several shots at another man, Darius Russell, who was riding with Scott.

Russell was not hit and Bullock fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Bullock and Scott's 3-year-old son was in Bullock's car during the altercation. An Amber Alert was not issued, because Bullock and Scott share custody of their son and was with Bullock when he arrived at Scott's work, according to authorities.

Bullock is facing several charges including; attempted first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of assault by pointing a gun, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of domestic violence protective order violation and misdemeanor child abuse.

Authorities are still searching for Bullock, who is described as an African American man standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. He has short black hair, a goatee and tattoos on both his forearms.

He may be driving a green 2012 Honda Accord with North Carolina license plate ALT-8834.
