Kinston Department of Public Safety announced Monday that Thomas A. Taylor, Sr. was arrested and charged with felony counts of peeping, possession of photographic images, secretly using an image device, and disseminating images.
Further details surrounding the incident have not been released.
Taylor is currently being held at the Lenoir County Jail under a $35,000 bond.
The 17-year fire captain has served 26 years with the City of Kinston Department of Public Safety. He has since been placed on administrative leave.
