Man arrested in Cary 'grab and go' thefts

CARY, N.C.

Joshua Daniels Jacobs, 28, of Cheswick Place, Cary, is charged with two counts of misdemeanor larceny. Police say he admitted to stealing the cash. If convicted, he faces up to 20 months in jail.

The incidents happened Friday, July 26. A cash register at the Walgreens at 1210 Kildaire Farm Road was cleaned out of money. About an hour later, the same thing happened at the Exxon gas station at 1720 Walnut Street.
