The power is back on after an early morning crash in Durham.

Police say the driver of a car hit a power pole near the intersection of Angier Avenue and Bingham Street around 4 a.m. Saturday.

The driver and his passenger were injured.

Duke Power was called in to restore electricity to the 600 customers impacted by the crash.

Police say alcohol appears to be a factor.
