Armana "Mony" Williams was turned over to Department of Social Services workers Tuesday.
Police say acquaintances of the child's mother, Wachaka Williams, notified her that police were looking for her child. Wachaka Williams contacted a family member and turned over Armana.
The child was not harmed.
The mother will not face charges related to this incident.
