Raleigh Police continue to investigate a bizarre incident that unfolded at a Raleigh gas station Friday afternoon.

It happened at a gas station off I-40 and Jones Sausage Rd.

Police say 36-year-old Henry Bagwell drove his white Volvo into a Toyota Highlander.

The impact sent the SUV skidding and ripped the gas nozzle out of the pump. The Toyota's owners, Colleen and David Jelley, were knocked down.

Police say Bagwell ran over Colleen Jelley. She has a broken leg and several broken ribs.

Investigators think Bagwell was under the influence.
