Orange County Sheriff's Deputies tell Eyewitness News that someone drowned in the pond at 8505 Harmony Church Road, near Mebane.
The first call came in just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Rescue crews were able to recover the body. No word on the age of the victim.
