DOT reviewing Cary intersection

CARY The DOT said it will do a traffic count at the intersection of Green Level Road to Durham and Cary Glen Blvd. The state may consider installing a traffic light there.

Last week there were several crashes at or near the intersection, and a 16-year-old girl was killed in one of the wrecks.

Police are still looking for the driver of a beige van or SUV that hit the black SUV and kept going.

Residents said they have been complaining about a visibility problem at the intersection for more than a year.
