The man was transported to the hospital, but his condition is not known.
Police have not made any arrests or released information about a suspect.
Shooting victim runs for help
DURHAM Police say it happened around 12:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Honey's restaurant off I-40 and Guess Road. They say the victim was shot several times before he ran into the North Point Business Center and called for help.
