The player won the grand prize of $141.4 million dollars by matching all five numbers and the Powerball.
The winning ticket was sold at the Wilco gas station on Smokey Parkway in Asheville.
Powerball says the winner has yet to claim the prize. The ticket will expire 180 days after the date of the drawing. The winner has to claim their prize at the lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
