Mario Shawn Johnson, 32, of Chapel Hill is charged in connection with the robbery of a BB&T branch.
The robbery took place at the South Duke Street location in Durham on February 17. The suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.
The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Anyone with information about Johnson's whereabouts should call the Durham Police Department.
