Apex police investigate multiple robberies

The stores are located within a few blocks of each other, but police have not said if any of the robberies are connected. There have been four convenience store robberies in the area since January.

The latest ones happened Thursday night at 10:35 and 10:41 p.m.

The first robbery happened at the Kangaroo Mart located at 302 East Williams Street. The second happened at the Racing Mart located at 321 South Salem Street. A small caliber handgun was displayed during both robberies.

ABC11 Eyewitness News called Apex police to get details about the incidents but police say they are not releasing any details at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

The Apex Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in Thursday's and January's robberies.

The Racing Mart was robbed on January 27 and another Kangaroo located at 705 E. Williams Street was robbed on January 29.
