Officers responded to a call in the 1500 block of North Hyde Park Ave. around 11:23 p.m. Tuesday. They found two men and a woman stabbed outside.
Tony Montrel Burns, 23, of Durham died Wednesday. The other victims remain hospitalized at Duke University Hospital.
Police have not released the other victim's names or their conditions.
Investigators believe there was an argument involving the three before they were stabbed. Police have not named any suspects.
