Severe thunderstorms that moved through the Triangle Sunday night likely caused a house fire in Durham, according to authorities.

The home, located on Medford Road near the Croasdaile Country Club, caught fire abound 10 p.m.

Images from the scene show the home fully engulfed in flames. Everyone inside escaped unharmed.

The home is one of many over the last month that have caught fire during storms. At least four homes throughout the Triangle have been struck by lightning.
