ComeUnityNow to replace Raleigh Wide Open

RALEIGH ComeUnityNow Festival replaces Raleigh Wide Open. The festival is divided into two events, a music festival and an arts festival. The Music Festival is a ticketed event; the admission price is $10 per person. The Arts Festival is free and open to the public along Raleigh's Fayetteville Street and City Plaza. ComeUnityNow Music Festival tickets go on sale July 15 online through a link on the festival's website at http://www.comeunitynow.com.

In addition to financial support, ComeUnityNow is seeking event underwriters and in-kind service providers for: online ticketing, talent recruitment, children's activities, art auction, beverage (non-alcoholic drinks only), Fayetteville Street building lobbies for performance venues, printing services, festival banners, parking, signage, and emcees.

Talent auditions for bands, solo acts, dancers, entertainers, and street performers will be held Monday, July 11 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Seaboard Station near Logan's Trading Company in Raleigh. Deep South Productions, the local experts American Idol and America's Got Talent call upon, is managing the staging of and assisting with talent recruitment for ComeUnityNow Music Festival.
