Mark Rollins and Michael Jones are accused of stealing more than 1,100 pounds of copper from a man on Jan. 3.
Police said after the pair sold the metal for $125, they stole 420 more pounds of copper the following day and sold it for $50.
Rollins and Jones are both charged with theft. Rollins was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon after police said he hit his neighbor with a metal pipe and let his dog bite the victim.
Both men are currently in jail.
