The first incident happened Saturday around 3 a.m. The victim told authorities that an African-American man who looked between the ages of 23 and 26-years-old and had no shirt on, grabbed her buttocks and then walked away.

He was described as standing between 5' 9" to 6' tall and having a muscular build and short hair.

A man fitting a similar description -- but wearing a blue Polo shirt and jeans -- reportedly grabbed another woman's buttocks, while she walked down the street just after 11 a.m. Monday.

The latest incidents are a growing concern following an unsolved rape near campus in February. That's when two men attacked a woman in an alley near Franklin Street.

Authorities are asking anyone who has information regarding the incidents or can identify the suspect to contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at (919) 968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at (919) 942-7515.
