Arrest made in multiple residential break-ins

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with multiple residential break-ins in Chapel Hill.

Police charged 19-year-old John Alfred Cradle II for his alleged involvement in break-ins in the Estes Hills, Somerset and Ironwoods neighborhoods between June 21 and July 18.

Cradle has been charged with seven felony counts of breaking and entering, one felony count of attempted breaking and entering, four felony counts of larceny after breaking and entering, one felony count of larceny, and six misdemeanor counts of injury to real property.

Cradle was released from jail after posting a $2,500 bond.
