Detectives responded to a report of a sexual assault on Sunday around 7 a.m.
As a result of the investigation, detectives have obtained warrants against 33-year-old Weldon Jay Davis. His last known address is listed as 2240 Yale St. in Fayetteville.
Weldon has been charged with second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sexual offense, first-degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation, assault in the presence of a minor, assault on a female, and communication of threats.
