Building collapses in Winston-Salem

June 26, 2013 8:04:23 PM PDT
Officials say weather played a role in a building collapse in Winston-Salem.

Firefighters were called to the Piedmont Leaf Tobacco building shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.

People initially reported hearing a large explosion, but firefighters say the loud noise was actually the building falling.

The building had been vacant for years.

No one was injured.
