A deputy pulled the 2008 Honda with a Georgia plate over for speeding just after midnight along I-40 at Harrison Avenue.
The woman driving did not have a driver's license and there were two other people in the car. The deputy called for a search dog, and officers found the drugs in 16 separate packages.
The three occupants of the car - 34-year-old Moise Orduno, 21-year-old Amall Judeth Murillo, and 22-year-old Sandra Danissa Hernandez Crisostomo were arrested and taken to the Wake County jail on drug trafficking charges.
