Durham County murder victim identified

DURHAM COUNTY, N.C.

Authorities were called to two houses that are on the same property in the 200 block of Andrews Chapel Road -- a rural area between Raleigh and Durham, just north of U.S. Highway 70 near the RDU Airport -- around 6:20 p.m.

Investigators said that 31-year-old Saul Botello Abrimz was found dead inside one of the homes after being shot several times. Investigators say his death is being investigated as a homicide and is likely drug related.

Investigators say it was no random act of violence. In fact, they're convinced Abrimz knew his killer.

Neighbors told ABC11 that at one point, a couple lived at the other house on the property, but they saw the most activity at the second home behind it.

They also said they would like to know exactly what happened.

"I hate it," neighbor Melody Cooley said. "You didn't have this before. I swear it's just too much building, too many people. What's wrong with having a little bit of country?"

Investigators won't' say if they have a person of interest or if they're close making an arrest.
