Family wants answers in Durham murder

DURHAM

The father of two was sitting in a car in front of his home when bullets were fired from a passing car.

Jobel's brother said the family needs closure and whoever did it should be brought to justice.

"He was only 28-years-old, only 28 years when he died. His birthday was only four days away. He had no enemies that anyone can think of. Everybody who knows him can sit there and tell someone 'Hey, he was a good person,'" said Gary Anderson.

The family said there have been no arrests, and they've gotten little information from investigators.

Anyone who can help police solve the case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200.

The family is going to have a vigil June 1 at 7:00pm. That'll mark four months since Jobel was gunned down. It'll at 1412 Liberty Street, where he was killed. The family asks people to show up with candles.
