One injured in multi-vehicle crash on Gillespie Street in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating after a person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning.

The incident happened shortly after midnight on Gillespie Street.

Troopers said a PT Cruiser pulled out in front of an SUV, which ran over part of the car.

The driver of the Chrysler was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; the driver of the SUV was unharmed.
