ACC Baseball | Duke clinches ACC title winning 16-4 against Florida State in Championship

- Down four runs, UNC shows fight with Vance Honeycutt ripping a leadoff double off Michael Massey to start the bottom of the 12th.

- Honeycutt steals third but Casey Cook strikes out swinging.

- Parks Harber goes down on strikes as he chases a Massey slider. UNC is down to its last out.

- Anthony Donofrio is at the plate, trying to keep it alive for UNC.

- Full count for Donofrio. He swings and misses and the game is over.

- Wake Forest wins 9-5 and advances to play Florida State at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

- Wake Forest's Marek Houston leads off the top of the 12th inning with a single.

- The Demon Deacons do damage! Nick Kurtz rips a home run to left field off Ben Peterson and it's 7-5 Wake Forest.

- And now Jack Winnay reaches first on a fielding error. Javar Williams bunts and grounds out but Winnay goes to second and the Deacons are looking for more.

- Seaver King is intentionally walked. Adam Tellier is at bat.

- After a long at-bat Tellier is hit by a pitch. Bases are loaded and the Wake Forest fans are roaring.

- Pitching change coming for UNC. Aidan Haugh comes in for Peterson.

- Antonio Morales is the batter for Wake Forest. Morales rips a shot through the right side of the infield to score two and make it 9-5 Wake Forest.

- Tate Ballestero strike out. Two gone.

- Jacob Burley strikes out to end the inning but the Deacons plate four to take control.

- Wake Forest shows no signs of life in the top of the 11th. A ground out and two strikeouts quickly end the stanza.

- Haiden Leffew comes in for Wake to pitch the bottom of the inning.

- After Anthony Donofrio strikes out swinging, Luke Stevenson draws a walk, putting the potential winning run on first.

- Alex Madera also walks and the Heels have another golden chance to put it away with two on and just one out.

- Ben Shenosky is in to pitch to Jackson Van de Brake.

- A ball gets away from the catcher and the runners advance. UNC has the winning run just 90 feet away with one out.

- Bases are loaded after Van de Brake is intentionally walked.

- Gavin Gallher at bat. He grounds to the shortstop and the Deacons stay alive with the throw to home. Two outs now and bases still loaded.

- Now Colby Wilkerson has a chance to drive in the winning run.

- He grounds to second, and the Heels waste a golden opportunity.

On to the 12th inning.

- Gavin Gallaher leads off the 10th for the Heels. Facing Wake reliever Josh Gunther.

- Gallaher draws a walk and the Heels are in business.

- The Deacons catch a break as Colby Wilkerson pops up a bunt attempt for an easy out.

- Vance Honeycutt is at the plate for UNC. Honeycutt drills a deep shot to center field but it hangs up for a fly out, leaving Gallahar at first base.

- Casey Cook at the plate. He draws a walk and now the winning run (Gallaher) is at second base.

- Parks Harber hits a deep shot to the warning track but the center fielder makes the play and the Heels strand two.

- On to the 11th inning.
