Watch: Texas mom saves daughter from choking on snack

TEXAS (WTVD) -- A Texas mom came to the rescue by performing a life-saving maneuver on her young daughter.

The moment caught on nanny-cam showed the 1-year-old girl running toward her mother, Jennifer Hull.

One minute, Hull's daughter was snacking on chips; the next, Hull said she was turning blue.

"I flipped her over and gave her some back blows and nothing happened," Hull recalled. "So I did the Heimlich, and right when I did (the chip) popped out!"

Hull credits infant safety classes with giving her the know-how to keep her daughter alive. She hopes her experience is a lesson for all parents to be prepared.
