Call it weather whiplash.
Temperatures fell as much as 30 degrees from Thursday to Friday in the Triangle and Sandhills of North Carolina.
The major cool down will continue Saturday as a Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory will take effect for much of the area.
The Freeze Warning will go into effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday for Durham, Orange, Chatham, Alamance, Person, Franklin, Granville, Vance and Warren counties. It's the first Freeze Warning of the season.

Wake, Johnston, Harnett, Lee, Cumberland, Nash, Wilson, Wayne, Edgecombe and Sampson Counties will be under a Frost Advisory.
