Silver alert issued for Cumberland County man

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has issued a Silver Alert for a Hope Mills man who has been missing since Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

72-year old James Elvy Clark, Sr. is described as a white male, five feet ten inches tall and weighs approximately 265 pounds. He has blue eyes, grey hair and a fair complexion.

Investigators say Clark has surgical scars on neck and right hand and has staples in his chest from a recent bypass surgery. He is also taking several prescribed medications. Clark wears a silver medical identification bracelet on his right arm.

Family members say they last saw Clark leaving home in a red 1995 Ford Ranger pickup truck with North Carolina license tag number 0082FW.
