Shelly Pannell, 25, was reported missing by her family shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday. Police said there were signs of a break-in at the home on New Hill Road.
Holly Springs investigators tell Eyewitness News that Pannel was found around 2 a.m. Monday at a motel in Henderson. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Pannell's ex-boyfriend, Earnest Lee Bryant, 25, was arrested at the hotel and charged with first-degree kidnapping, assault, and breaking and entering.
Bryant is in Wake County Jail. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
