Obama to visit Fayetteville on Sunday

RALEIGH A statement from the campaign says the Illinois senator will hold a rally in the Fayetteville area on Sunday.

Senator Obama returns to North Carolina to hold a Change We Need Rally in the Fayetteville area on Sunday afternoon at the Crown Coliseum. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and will begin at 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged. www.nc.barackobama.com . It will be his sixth trip to North Carolina since the May primary.

Obama's last visit to North Carolina was to Asheville, two days before the Oct. 7 presidential debate with Republican candidate John McCain. Obama spent several days in western North Carolina prepping for the debate.
